Just a question, I'm repainting the Lear and I was wondering if I accidentally spill over onto an instrument panel or something will that effect it any?
Thanks

depends on if the panel is used on the aircraft
sometimes there is "extra" parts that arent used, its best to be careful though.
What do I do you ask? I struggle! Then destroy! Then try to put back together what I just broke on accident.....&&&&&&&&&& The GMax effect

Yes.
Rename the Lear_T.bmp file
paint over the panel-parts (in question) and convert it to DXT3 and take a look in FS9.
The panels shown there are for outside views; the actual 'panel' panel is 24bit and it's in the (surprise!) panel folder.
Painting over the panel part in Lear45_t.bmp will only be seen the dummy pilots (whose pictures are in the same file). Some of the items here are part of the gear-struts so they WILL be seen.
Any part of any image which is painted over will appear painted over. Come to think of it, that's not much of stretch, now is it?

i think it depends on the file you painted it on the one that ends in _t is the external view, _c is vitual cockpit and the other is damaged, so it would only change it on the ones you edit it on
