I was a bit dissappointed by Palmer being assassinated, but it makes sense. After all, he was no longer the President and there was only so much he could do now. I was REALLY ticked off about Michelle being killed off. To me, her and Tony were as big a part of the show as Jack is.
Having said that, this new season looks to rock, and Sean Astin didn't screw it up nearly as bad as I thought he might. I actually kind if liked him, although If he starts calling Jack "Mr. Frodo", I'm outta here...

I am a bit worried that we've gone back to the bio-threat again. It seems a pattern is developing here. Season two was a nuke threat, season three, a bio threat, season 4 was back to nukes, and now season five is back to bio. Go figure. If the past is any indication, however, the plot will soon drift way away from what we started with and something totally new will be revealed before it's all over.
All in all, I would say it's off to an incredibly good start!

BTW, for those of you who just can't wait to see what is coming up in the future, go
HERE. This site is uncannily accurate with the spoilers and I suspect they really DO have someone on the inside of the show...
