Well, I went to the Madison Car Show today and my dad and I noticed something. One all the sports/higher-performance cars, the brake calipers on the front wheel are on the back side of the wheel, while the calipers on the back wheel are on the front side, and on all the regular cars, both calipers are on the front. I figured it was because during heavy braking, more of the weight moves forward because of higher speeds and deceleration, so it would push the front of the car down and the brake caliper being in the back of the wheel would help lift the nose back up to more evenly distribute the weight between the front and back wheel so they don't skid. I don't know the real answer though and I was just curious if anyone else knew.
Thanks.

It could be to do with airflow around the chassis and cooling?
There are two types of aeroplane, Spitfires and everything else that wishes it was a Spitfire!
