I think the problem is you have applied changes to just your desktop. If you change the "Apply chages to:" option to All insted of Desktop that might help. Not entirely sure though.

The changes you are making affect your display only, not the screenshots you are taking.

You can load the shots into a paint program for editing and colour adjustment but they would be illegal in the freeware UNEDITED screenshots forum, otherwise everyone would be tarting up their shots.

I myself have tried the changes recently to no avail. I guess these settings only affect the display as Congo described. I guess the rich, real-looking, colours that others get in there shots are entirely due to there cards.

Surely a screenshot is taking a picture of the display. So any colour correction made on the graphics card will change what is sent to the display and therefore will be captured by a screenshot. The only way it wouldn't be is if you changed the RGB, brightness or contrast on the monitor. Tongue

Well it should take the screenshot WITH the color correction showing, but all it does is switch back to a normal shot when i change to my normal colors. Don't worry now any-way, i can produce some very decent shots with my new system, even if i'm using the 6600 Tongue
