Okay guys, the airshow will be this Saturday (the 14th of January I believe) - but what time? Tweek and I came up with this range of times, so all you who are GMT +1, +2 etc don't get left out. And, the times in GMT -5 etc should be ok, what do you guys say?
Get voting....we'll see you at the Airshow!

Well the person furthest back, time-zone wise, I think, is Jakemaster. So his options are 10:00AM, 11:00AM and 12:00AM (I think... I'm pretty sure Houston is US Central, which I've gone by). But not forgetting the GMT+1s, who will be at 17, 18 and 19:00. We don't know exactly how long the show would last, so ideally, it would be at 17:00GMT.

I may be able to make it by then ...

...on a Thursday... Roll Eyes...!

Thank-you...!

Yeah.  Umm, this is tough.  I mean, real tough.  10:00 AM is outa the question.  11:00AM SHOULD be fine, and 12:00 is lunchtime.  Im voting for 11, meaning 1500GMT 1700GMT, because that leaves me with the most time.

Well Jake, I've put you in the second half of the display, so it will give you time to get there. It should be way past the hour mark before you display. My display is about 7 minutes long, from take-off to being clear of the runway. If everyone elses display averages 7 minutes, you'll have 70 minutes to get there!

Of course, to the people who can get there, I'd suggest connecting about half an hour early. I learned from the mistake of joining too late for the SimV race, I got disconnected, and had left no time to join before the start of the race.

My part may be a little longer. The old girl needs a little more room to get lined up than you little guys in aerobatic planes. I fly most of of my circuit at 245kts, but slow down for my last three passes, I may put a fifth or sixth pass in too. I haven't timed it yet, but each pass feels like it is a minute to a minute and a half shorter than doing a VFR go-around at an airport surrounded by flat land. I fly my passes over the runway from right to left (east-west) and fly 1 minute west of the runway before turning, the turn takes about 1.5-2 minutes, then I fly 2 minutes east of the runway, another 2 minute turn to roughly line up, then I start slowing down if needed. That comes to about 10 minutes between passes, cant be right. I'll work on shortening it up though. By wed. I'll tell you for sure, you may want to schedule one of the fly-bys to come between my passes, and also, you may want to time the Ant-Globe-Herc flyby so that at least one of us is already in the air.

Mine will probably be longish too.  It takes a bit to taxi, then landing takes a while (part of the display)

Taxying will be overlapped with the previous display. Me or cspyro will post the rules nearer to the day, perhaps Thursday or Friday. But we will probably have it where the next person will taxi out some time into their display, so when they land and get clear of the runway, you can be straight back up into the air.

I'd also like to point out that if you do not want to use the Yeovilton runway, you can always head in from nearby Henstridge (EGHS). That's what me and cspyro will be doing for our Lanc/Hurricane flypast/display.

1700GMT is a little early for me... But... It's what's winning and it's later than 1600 so I voted for it.

I should like my aerobatics display should be later in the show if you don't mind in case I can't make it at 12:00PM...

AMD Athlon 64 3700+&&GeForce FX5200 256Mb&&1GB DDR400 DC&&Seagate 500Gb SATA-300 HDD&&Windows XP Professional X64 Edition
&&&&That's right, I'm now using an AMD! I decided to give them another try and they kicked the pants off of my P4 3.4!

Ok, I'll put it in the second half. So far, we have 18 confirmed displays, which will give us at least 2 hours of flying, maybe even 3...
