This is the fourth set of pics from the new Vista Australis addon, and this time it's the tropical north east territory of Queensland....

...

I liked the arid Western desert a lot, but somehow the lush green tropics I liked even more!

...

For this set I was using the VOZ environmental textures + FSAtmosphere.... lush Smiley

...

Andy Weir's meshes for Australia really bring out the terrain nicely...

...

What can I say... It's all a personal matter of taste, I know, but...
...I've never really flown in Australia before but right now I can't think of a single good reason not to.... Smiley

...

2 more 'exploratory' sets to go... the next one is the last untried part of the continent, the south-west... I'm curious if it looks any different to the south....

This is my last set for 2005 and with it I wish all you guys a very happy New Year!

Happy flying in 2006!

Regards

Krigl

Thank you guys!!

Yep, the scenery and the PC-12 are freeware, but the environment I usually use is payware (though without FSAtmosphere this scenery looks pretty similar i.e. nice Smiley), and so is the Porter, though it's not available anywhere - I bought it from representatives of the Austrian National Guard, or something like that, one of their squadron members made it and they were selling it for about 10 US dollars...

Cheers

Krigl

Stunning shots Krigl!  Shocked

What camera view utility are you using? I'd love to see some of your shots taken with the normal FS external views. If these are anything to go by then they should be in the same league as Dave and ramsa!

I'm using Walk and Follow.... it's an addiction  Cheesy

I'm not sure if I know how to take normal external views any more...

...not content with putting all pictures and shelves at an angle at home, I've now started sawing cm off selected legs of furniture... a lot of broken flowerpots and spilled food/drink Grin
