I bought this a couple of days ago, and tonight was the only night that i've been free to give it a try and i must say that i am very impressed with the excellent Flight Dynamics and a Great V.C (sadly i never got any from the v.c as i was so excited at flying this).

Very nice but I've spotted one enormous cock-up! The Mk VIII had a retractable tail-wheel!

And I do not believe they were flown by 421 Squadron either (AU code letters Wink)
I suspect it's the Alpha Sim MkIX there. Nice shots.

Sorry bout the cock-up with the marks of the Spit,
AU-P is a mk.IX from RAF Henley in 1943, and as for the retractable tailwheel in the other shots i'm not too sure how to retract it......

Thanks for your comments though

You are indeed correct, only the first shot and the USAAF spits there are MK.VIII's the AU@P  paint one is a MK.IX

Love the shots, the last one of the cherokee is especially nice.

Your quite right there i do take a lot of shots at dawn/dusk as its my prefared time to fly in the sim, although with the way the clouds are set for the shots it does make quite an impact on the frame rates.

Thanks once again all.

Nemo..........
thanks also for reviving this thread as i had completely forgot about it
