just a random custom thingy you can do. (Read 589 times)

as a few of you know, im now one with a custom built computer.

well i decided, a custom computer needs the system info displayed. so i created this.

note: i did this with paint, dont have paintshop pro.. well i do, but i dont use it...

here's the simple trick to custom your own system properties:

note: this is when you right-click on My Computer

go into your WINDOWS folder, look for SYSTEM32. find 2 files, Oemlogo.bmp and Oeminfo.ini. if they exist, they can be changed, if not, creating them is easy.

your Oemlogo max size is 180 x 120 pixels. jsut create it, and save as oemlogo.bmp <BMP!!!

if you don't have the oeminfo.ini, open notepad, and paste  this text in. save file as Oeminfo.ini <Must save as INI!!!

Manufacturer=Ramos Custom Computers
Model=X-100
SupportURL=http://www.drumlineramos.com
LocalFile=Path to local html file

[ICW]
Product=Tell us, please!

[OEMSpecific]
SubModel=More branding to edit
SerialNo=xxxxxxxx
OEM1=Brave Combo
OEM2=rules!!

[Support Information]
Line1=for the Suport Information tab
Line2=to be displayed, you MUST have
Line3=at least 2 lines of text. type
Line4=whatever you want
Line5=
Line6=leave blank lines for spaces

well hey... it's an AMD, and it's a start.

plus it's overclocked at 2.45, almost at my old 2.6 P7 i used to have (until i sold it this friday Tongue)
