Over where I come from, which is Portsmouth, UK, the inhabitants of our neighbouring city are affectionately known as 'Scummers'. I don't know what they call us...

Anyway, for the purposes of good-neighbourliness I thought I'd pay them a visit.... Smiley

Blast Off from Southampton International Airfield.

...

It's my all-time fave C172 repaint, the 'Sekiu' by Yannis Gakis....

...

The sun was just oozing above the horizon...

...

Fawley Oil Refinery glowers over the dismal scene...

...

It took ages to get the 'fly over key national security area typee permit' but I oiled a few palms...

...

Bladerunner....cue cool electro music by Vangelis.....

...

Do you like our owl?

...

After inhaling all those fumes I feel my gorge rising and vision blurring....

QUICK, tilt the shot, I'm gonna blow!!!

Bleeeaaarrrghhhh!!!

...

Damn! It was a good plan but I forgot to roll down the window.

...

Next stop - the reptilian and stinking city of... Portsmouth. Not much there in FS9, but still....for old times sake Smiley

Thanks for looking in, comments welcome Cheesy

there's more refineries in there too!!! Smiley

You used to work there? Nice! I've been past it a few times and visited the oceanography institute or whatever it is nearby, when I was very young....

Yes, FE and possibly FSAtmosphere acting there too, not sure if I've managed to completely expunge it from my 'non-FSAtmosphere Flight Environment' texture set.... I had 'real-world weather' on too...

Yes....because it doesn't have a fence to limit the unit area sure that house location looks strange....but pretend that is a control house.... Smiley
