I'm a bit rusty. I havn't played with my FSDS in 2 years.

useing the newest version. 2.2 and the FS2004 updates, I need help creating glass textures for canopys
Whats the best way to go about that.

Also, any tips about animation would be apriciated.

<G> Welcome back.

By the way, the latest version is FSDS3 (released yesterday)

For your glass parts, set a material alpha of 64 or 128 - whatever sets your fancy.

I tend to go with a greenish color and alpha of 64.

For animations, you'll need to pay strict attention to the tags you choose, and whether it's a stock/default animation (such as elevator, l_aileron, r_aileron, etc) which is determined by the part axis orientation, or a keyframe animation (l_gear, r_gear) etc., for which you have to set the various key frames.

The FSDS help file on animation is actually quite good!
