I've been working on a me-163, when I came to the .Cfg file I realized I've never seen the Engine data section of a .Cfg for a rocket powered craft, Could someone piont me to an exsiting rocket .Cfg, or where I could find a list for the rocket engine data section of a .Cfg ? Also will these Air/Cfg files work well in CFS3? Thanks guys.

Well, I'm no CFS3 user or anything, but as far as I know, the rocket engine section is used to define things like missiles and such that aren't really pilotable aircraft.  But I could be totally wrong.  I just think every question deserves SOME type of answer . . . Grin

Thanks for your reply, It seems that weapons in CFS3 are defined in .DXP files. but even for the FS series in .CFG files under engine type,  0=Piston, 1=Jet, 2=None, 3=Helo-Turbine, 4=Rocket, 5=Turboprop, yet there isn't anything anywhere about the parameters of a [RocketEngineData] section, It would just be wrong if I had to tweek a jet engine to work like I think a Walter 109-509A-2 rocket motor should. again thanks Locke

I don't know, but you might not have found this handy little thingy yet:

http://www.mudpond.us/utilities_index.html

Specifically, the flight dynamics workbook, which uses MS Excel to go through each bit of the airfile with precision.  You can enter data that is found around the net or in many books and the workbook will create an airfile and config file to those parameters.  I've used it several times, but its a little titchy.  If you have any problems, you can contact Jerry Beckwith (the creator) and he'll help you out.

Good Luck!
