Hi,

As some of you know, I'm currently working on an IL-2 project, my first ever FS airplane.

Right now I'm close to finishing the external model, so I still got a long way to go.  I'm here because I'd like my airplane to have a virtual cockpit with smooth gauges, and I don't know how to do that.  A bit of research revealed XML gauges, C gauges, gauge lighting, sliders, needles, and everything in between, but I'm still as clueless as ever.  How do I go about making the gauges, where do I put them, do I need to do anything special to make them smooth in the VC...?

At this point, I can do the graphics, but that's about it.  You can see my efforts so far.

...

Thanks for your help.

As a first try - is there an *existing* gauge that you can use?  For example, you may want to simply change the graphic on a default DC-3 gauge that serves the same purpose instead of building a new one from the ground up.

Apart from that, I believe that FS Panel Studio would help you in creating new gauges.
