I've had to reinstall my FS2k2. I wish to reinstall the  "Real Scene 2004 / USA Terrain & Landclass Data Sets".    There are two files in Question;  "Addon Scenery" and "Scenery".   Both end up inside with "scenery" however ; the files inside each are different .  Where do I put them ? Any help would be appreciated.  I also wish to use this scenery direct.   Thanks much.       caveman

Well, I'm not sure it's a direct correlation to your question, but I installed the abacus USA Extreme Landscapes scenery add-on and I saw no indication I was using it; it's just there and it goes on seamlessly. The only thing that changed was that I now get a window in FS2002 just before it brings up the dialog boxes that tells me there is some sort of failure in section 121 of the OEM scenery. I just click OK and it runs just as well as it always did. Hope this helps...

Generally speaking all addon scenery is installed to FS2002\ADDON SCENERY folder. It's not mentioned in FS2002 Help but that's what it's there for. My Scenery Clinic might help. http://www.simviation.com/lair/fs2002sc.htm

PS. Ignore the Scenery & Texture subfolders in ADDON SCENERY. These will both be empty folders unless you've pasted files in there yourself. Install each new scenery area in its own separate subfolder within the ADDON SCENERY folder.

Hey you Guys,  sure do appreciate your help. Very kind of you to take your time for me.   Area 21 and me have always gone round & round. Grin   I also have that USA Extreme Landscapes.  Is there any  "GAIN" in the appearance of the scenery ? Is it even possible to "RUN" it also ?    [ The 3 yr old in me is always on the loose] Grin      Thanks again,        caveman
