"Interlaken Run"!
Please write the course down on paper and have it handy at racetime!
1) Start at LSMI (Interlaken),
engines off
, lined up on active runway heading 047
2) Upon start signal, fly 11 miles heading 047 apx. to LSMM (Meiringen), fly-by the runway
below 2,000ft. altitude
3) Turn heading 294 apx. Fly for 27 miles to LSZB (Belp), perform touch and go runway 14
4) Turn heading 159 apx. Fly for 19 miles to LSAZ (Reichenbach), perform touch and go
5) Turn to heading 303 apx. Fly for 38 miles towards LSGN (Neuchatel) perform clockwise barrel roll over the water just before performing touch and go at LSGN
6) Turn heading 113 apx. Fly the home stretch 48 miles back to LSMI (Interlaken). Here's where you can pick up lost ground (air)!
First wheels to touch the runway and stop at Interlaken Wins!
The Maps!
The Starting Line
Lo Pass at LSMM
1st T+G at LSZB
2nd T+G at LSAZ
Barrel Roll and 3rd T+G at LSGN
Back to the Finish Line

I'm assuming that it's 'First wheels to touch the runway at Interlaken
(& complete the landing without crashing)
Wins!
Yes??

Hi all,
Clipper, I've taken the liberty of drawing up a map to show the course, as well as your detailed instructions above. I hope you don't mind, and if you think that I am interfering, please don't hesitate to say.
Here is a (crude) map of the course:
http://www.simviation.com/yabbuploads/mapofrace
The green dot indicates the start line, and then follow the red line, leaving the green dot eastwards.
Cheers

These 'touch and gos', are they real "air race" TGs (Just one touch at apx. 100 knots or so), or are they landing TGs (Touch at landing speed and a long roll)?

Air Race touch and goes....just make contact with the runway and move on...

We will NOT be using teamspeak as everyone is not equipped.

Hope you all noticed that... he didn't say you have to actually be pointing down the runway when you touch it
