30 years ago today the only man to win the F1 World Championship, the Le Mans 24hrs and the Indy 500 died alongside his team manager, his driver and his wife, and two mechanics in the crash of his Piper Aztec in bad weather after clipping trees at Elstree aerodrome, Hertfordshire...

A Trans Canada Airlines DC-8 also crashed on this day in 1963 near Montreal, killing 118...

Sorry, me being as clear as a muddy puddle... Itwas Tony Brice's wife who was killed. I think Mrs Hill may still be alive today...

ah ok thanks. i thought it was a bit strange because I am sure I saw them do a few interviews with her when Damon was racing.
