Hi,  2242

It would be a lot easier for the rest of us if you used some punctuation, upper case, paragraphs, etc.  Grin

It sounds like you are missing a step somewhere, but from your entry I can't tell which step that is.

I could repeat here all the steps necessary, but that would be a long text and would bore most of the other fellas.

Sent me an e-mail at fernmarques@yahoo.com and I can probably figure out which step you are missing.

Let me know whether you are familiar with ObPlacerXML.

Not clear whether you've already done this, but if not... when you open FS9, any brand-new scenery needs to be activated first - go into Settings, Scenery Library, and Add Area (browse).  Note that, once the scenery has been added in this way, if you make any modifications to it (provided the root folder remains intact), the updated scenery will display once the sim is restarted.  Here's an example:

A quick way to check out new scenery is to pop the BGL files into the Addon Scenery\Scenery subfolder. Any new BGL files in this location will  be automatically activated the next time you start FS9. Be careful to delete any previous versions of the scenery each time you update it so there is no conflict. When you're happy with it you can configure it properly & activate it in the usual way as with any other 3rd party scenery.

In the XML file it says remove the comment markers to place object east of 34R at Sea Tac i run it thru bgl comp it dosent make a bgl file nothing happens but when i put the comment markers back bgl comp makes a bgl file what do i have to do?

Thanks again.
