On Saturday November 5th at 9pm eastern standard time we will fly between KBHB (BAR HARBOR, MAINE, USA) and 6B6 (STOW, MASSACHUSETTS, USA)
Distance along great circle: 209.5 statute miles, 182.0 nautical miles, 337.1 kilometers
Initial true great circle heading: 230.1 degrees (southwest)
As this flight is a little longer I would highly recommend the beechcraft baron 58 once again..
As always if you are flying a addon aircraft I would suggest starting the flight in the default Baron first so that we see you as a similar type of aircraft.
For this flight we will be taking SAM up on his gracious offer to use the teamspeak server he and his friends set up for our audio communication device. For more information about the teamspeak server and how to connect please see the following link:
http://www.simviation.com/cgi-bin/yabb/YaBB.cgi?board=Multi;action=display;num=1...
IP address for the session shall be: 69.221.160.210
For general questions please refer to the general question thread:
http://www.simviation.com/cgi-bin/yabb/YaBB.cgi?board=Multi;action=display;num=1...
Hope to see you there,
Jared

Jared and all,
Just got home. Popping some dinner in the microwave...... and hope to join you.
Bar Harbour (pronounced "baah haah-baah") is one stunning area in real life...... Acadia National Park is there. My wife and I were up there last summer for a couple of days. Stayed in a motel at about the midpoint on the runway of KBAR about 1/2 milre from the runway.
best,
.................john

Woohoo!
Free Gas!
I can imagine the line being a little long at the gas pump.
PS: I will be flying the EMB 314 Tucano for this session. Love this little plane.

I have come to the conclusion that TeamSpeak sucks. lol. For some reason I can't talk in it. My mic is properly connected, the volume is up, it just won't work. Any hints?

Are you sure that mic is connected to the MIC port and not the SPEAKER port?

umm Jake, do you have a firewall, or a router running?
If so you need to open the right ports in firewall and router for teamspeak..
Not sure what else would cause that...

I'm having the same problem as well except it's with FS9.
I don't know how to set up the ports with Norton. The ports within FS9 are set to the default.

I don't think there is anything wrong with my connection.
I started to test my connections by simply shutting off all firewalls and trying out two different servers: WSPilots and Jared's server.
I managed to connected [without a hitch] to WSPilots servers, but I still can't connect to Jared's.
My theory is that the server in his end is probably not setup properly. Hey Jared, have you check the setting of your server?

lol, yeah I did check all of my settings once again and I have not changed anything in over a month as far as network or router settings.....
The theory behind being able to connect to one place and then another is semi-plausible at best...you can close all your ports and still connect to a server depending on if someone else is connected to the same server and many other variables like that..

My problem was that stupid norton wouldn't let me change settings. So all I did was restart the computer and turned it off in the system tray
