I'm having the same problem as well except it's with FS9.

I don't know how to set up the ports with Norton. The ports within FS9 are set to the default.

I don't think there is anything wrong with my connection.

I started to test my connections by simply shutting off all firewalls and trying out two different servers: WSPilots and Jared's server.

I managed to connected [without a hitch] to WSPilots servers, but I still can't connect to Jared's.

My theory is that the server in his end is probably not setup properly. Hey Jared, have you check the setting of your server?

lol, yeah I did check all of my settings once again and I have not changed anything in over a month as far as network or router settings.....

The theory behind being able to connect to one place and then another is semi-plausible at best...you can close all your ports and still connect to a server depending on if someone else is connected to the same server and many other variables like that.. Wink

My problem was that stupid norton wouldn't let me change settings.  So all I did was restart the computer and turned it off in the system tray
