Those flashing Advertisements on the main entry page are
REALLY annoying!!!

I can't imagine ANYONE actually wanting to visit any site
that uses that means of attempting to draw your attention.

While impossible to totally ignore, I never read them and just
cover them with another window or move on immediately
to the "Forums" page.

It would be nice to be able to peruse the information on
main page but those flashes make that impossible without
taking additional measures to mask them out.

For awhile I thought Simviation had stopped including such
Ad's but I now notice they are back again...  Sad

Two things Paul.......

ONE::
Since Simviation supplies thousands of FREE downloads to people, this site needs some way of bringing in money so it can stay in business. So adds keep this place afloat!

TWO::
You can always sign up for Simviation's

"PREMIER MEMBERSHIP"
,

This way you could eliminate the ads that are so troubling to you and also give back a little something to keep this site going! Comapared to the huge amount of downloads and services that this site has to offer, it is the least most of us can do.....

Paul, calm down. Wink Get some pop up/add blockers. There are loads of them out there. I actually don't have any installed right now, but I have managed to block every single ad SImviation had at one point.

the only problem is the one popup that somehow gets through firefox.  Its becoming serious, as people are starting to denounce simv

Jakemaster,

Relax mate!

If you are referring to the Sim outhouse post, I would not worry about it.

Henry the Admin over there locked it as nobody needs to be bashing any body's site, especially when a grown adult starts a thread like, "I am about to SLAM" another site!"

Move on......  8)
Anybody who frequents Flight Sim Sites on the Web knows what we are about, I would not worry about a few bad apples.....  Wink
