What I have heard.. next to the longbowmen also
a bad strategy and freelancing of the french troops
led to the victory of Britain. For example they send their
Riders out first.. wich were brought down by the longbowman... The fleeing horses than rushed back and
crushed half of the french crossbowman.
Also the majority of the french gentry and princes were killed at that battle.
I think it was a big false estimation of the french army.
