I have terrible knees, and it absolutly kills me whenever I look for aviation books/magazines as they are ALWAYS on the very BOTTOM shelf! Argh!!
After a trip to B&N the other day, I could hardly walk back out of the store, as every freakin' book I wanted to look at was not only on the bottom shelf, but in the BACK of the bottom shelf so I had to squat down every time. I was so P-O'd by the time I was done! haha
So, for those of you considering aviation as a career, make sure you have good knees, because you'll need 'em to scrape the aviation materials out from under the other crap.
I guess that's what pilots get for being only %0.25 of the population.
The day is always better when you're flying upside down.&&&&

Forget having a career, if you're even considering being
interested
in aviation you better not have bad knees

Thanks for the assurance Beefhole!! haha
The flying doesn't bother them... just the walking back and forth from the freakin' classes here.
I'll get them checked out next week.

My knees absolutely
kill
if I'm couped up in a tight car for even an hour, but it's never happened to me flying either.

LOL Well, I'll put that to the test this Sunday as I have a 7 hour XC to do for my commercial.
I was hoping to get a Warrior so I could cut down the time... but they were booked. and I need the hours anyway... so I'm stuck in a slow C-152. lol

I get round this problem by subscribing to the two that I always buy! I'm lucky in the that the local newspaper shop has the aviation stuff on the middle shelf...
