First of all I want to thank all out developers of this community. Not only CFS2 but also CFS1 and 3 as well. They are the ones who have kept our collective interest in this great and noble hobby going.

Thank you

This is the post is what I"m talking about.

1.http://www.simviation.com/cgi-bin/yabb/YaBB.cgi?board=cfs2;action=display;num=11...

I always believe that this hobby was a collective hobby about combat flight simulating the air war during World war two and beyong.

Not about one program or other. I always found most forums to bee fun and instructive. No matter what level of talent one may poses you can always contribute to this hobby for the benefit of the whole.

Gentleman if we do not stick together and joint forces perhaps we will perish separately.

We should not treat one program the nemesis of any other. Thats simply a defective mental way of treating this Hobby.

Lately I have seen the different mood when one of our member miss stated a post.

All of sudden its been invaded by negative post after another about wich program is better CFS2 or CFS3.

Its has become a fest of diception and negativity that can only hurt our hobby.

I have never seen so many grown men get excited  and argue so much over two flight simulators. Its embarrassing  and counter  productive. It might turn off our younger members.

I"m asking all of our member to restrain from such negative behavior.

We need to stick together. Not to be destructive and negative. Both this program are great and it needs our collective help to continue to enrich our experience through them.

Comparing them is futile. They are both very different and we need them both  if you care to represent World war in its totallity through fligh simulators.

Their is no way CFS3 can replace CFS2 nor can you say the other way. So we should join forces and develope both this programs to their fullest so we members can enjoy them to their maximum capability.

Stop promoting one program over the other. That only hurts the Hobby. If a program is really that good you do not need to promote it so much over another. It will do it by itself.

Please do not invade another programs forum to promote you favorite program over it. Its wrong and class less.

I have never supported such havavior weather from CFS2 to CFS3 nor CFS3 to CFF2 forum. Nothing good has ever come from it.

Lets respect each others forum in the name of this Hobby and in the name of having class.

If you agree with me and support my post please help in endevour fellow members.

PS We have become so self center with our untruth full comments on the other program that we have forgotten to help a fellow member sharpy about a question he has on both this programs.

Only Corsair Freak gave him a answer. Now thats shamfull!

thank you members

I hate to see conflict in this forum but please remember it's a game. Don't take it so seriously. Wink

There's no point in me commenting if I don't know the answer. I would have helped him if I could. That's what I do.

I think people should lighten up a bit, and not take things so seriously. There's nothing wrong with an argument so long as it doesn't get personal.
If anybody pisses me off, I just find out where he lives, load up a Sim, and go bomb his village all evening.
Germany's been getting a real pasting recently, and I'm already planning a major strike on cloud cuckoo-land, so Hagar better watch out.  8)

James all sims have their simulators have their good points and bad points. And different people have different opinions. So it's best to not debate which is better. It's best to open a poll that allows people to decide which sim they like more. And that has already been done, so let's keep it quiet with that sort of stuff, eh?

Indio, why don't you take screenshots of the village being bombed when the bombs hit and show the person? Or is that too offensive? Hmmmm..... ??? Grin

Our forum is really great, full stop Grin

CFS. CFS2. CFS3 etc - they're all a game, just a game, so enjoy what part of them that you like and let the other people enjoy the portion they like and encourage them in it. Some people like hearts or solitare or poker or something else. It's all for fun.

F/W/I/W the very best simulator I ever flew belonged to the the US gov't. My son is a naval aviator and when he graduated and received his wings they had a big ceremony and let the parents fly the Goshawk sim and try their hand at carrier landings.  It was a blast. Of couse none of us could do it but it was FUN TRYING.  I guess that thing cost the gov't a couple of million each. They did say that the sim cost more than one Goshawk.

So let's keep it light - it's only a game.
