It seems yesterday afternoon right around 3pm two flight students from Kent State University, both of which are friends of mine had engine trouble and executed a successful emergency landing in a Cuyahoga Falls cornfield.

Congratulationsare in order to those involved in the emergency landing as well as the instructors who taught them safe emergency procedures...
I actually know both the pilot and the instructor that were involved in this incident and plan on talking to them in the near future..
It shall be interesting to see what really happened in the end....
