Hi Gearhead,

please explain the meaning of head unit. Is it a part of your cd-player?

Don't know about car players but on a computer there's a tiny hole that you can stick a straightened paper clip into that will release the door.

it has a hole..but upon further inspection(taking it completely apart) the hole is insignificant. i am just going to buy a new unit..oh well. i lost the cd too. BUT on a ligher note my neighbor GAVE me his 12" autobahn subwoofer and 300w amp for FREE. he said the amp was broken..but it was just the fuse!!  Grin

Aftermarket has ejector help... usually needs the power on then prod in the designated hole and the drive will spit out the disc
