i created a scenery object and exported it as a x file then i went to make mdl and i exported it as a scenery fs9 file and it exported without any error messages so my question is how do you place the scenery so it is in a certain location (longitude & latitude)? because in the make mdl program i went to the scenery tab and it doesnt let me write the location.
(BTW the object that im trying to export is an aircraft carrier so in not sure if it is considered a scenery or a scenery object)

Read the gmaxSceneryTutorial.doc. Page 37 tells you how to place your FS9 Scenery Object in the sim.
