By the way, if anything, the '79 Soviet invasion of Afghanistan was a duck hunt. I'm sure the Mujahdeen was a formidible force.

But the ironic twist is that the USSR still lost Roll Eyes

History has its own sense of humor doesn't it Wink

Oh yeah, I bought LOMAC for the F-15, only aircraft in the world with a spotless combat record of 103 air to air kills with no losses 8)

Cool shot, love the new Su-25T in FC, you should try it out if you can.

I must say though I bought LOMAC for all the aircraft but I do spend most of my time in the F-15 and A-10.  I really like the MiG-29 though, lotsa fun.

Unproven eh?

(I couldn't find one with the whole highway)

I was on that highway right after that, horrible sight to see, over a mile long of pure destruction.

I'll just say this: Cool pic, Frogfoot and Warthog both mean lean fightin' machines, some prefer only one or the other and let's not get into a pissing contest.

The A-10 is in Afghanistan.
I don't call Iraq, Gulf, Afghanistan "controlled." They are modern wars and is what we will be seeing from now on. The A-10 has proved its durability and effectiveness in a combat situation more-so than almost any other aircraft in existance. There are countless stories of pilots flying the A-10 and taking multiple missile/AA hits and make it home. It can carry a formidable payload with 30mm explosive/armor piercing rounds. It is one of the greatest tank killers and low level combat aircraft today.

So there. Grin Grin

You have to look at the mission for the acft. Close Air Support...putting the rounds on target when you need them...which does it best?

A-10....those big ol rounds slammin home, or a maverick through your smoke pipe.....yeah...I'm gonna give it to the A-10 on this one.

Ive had Lock On for almost a year now but it will only work on my mum's laptop and that one's only here when shes not on business.

Ive been waiting for over a month now for that video card to arrive. This gets so frustrating.  Angry

Lock on is great though; a fantastic game and do you know its retail price?  Shocked I bought it for 12 Euros in gamemania!  Smiley
