If you have AFCAD (ver 2.x for FS9) you can use it to add parking codes to the gates.

You can then use the AFCAD>Tools>Aircraft Editor to assign the same parking codes to the desired aircraft. (Check the aircraft.cfg file(s) as many PAI a/c have parking codes already defined)

The aircraft will then go to the proper gate(s) as first choice if there is one available.

If your unfamiliar with AFCAD it has a very good help file.

Thanks for your reply. Is there anywhere i could get a map of MAN that shows which airlines use what gates?

Many thanks,
Richard.

PS - In the afcad aircraft editor, is it possible to export this information to excel/access?

Maybe try to 'Google' for the info, or hope someone jumps in here that is familiar with Manchester

There is no export/import function in Afcad ver.2.x, so my guess is no.

Well its not a map but a listing of what airlines use which terminals. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Manchester_International_Airport

Thanks, Dave, for this reminder Aircraft Editor in AF2 seems to be the most-overlooked feature of Lee's great freebee. I've coded parking by hand (editing aircraft.cfg files) only to find (after checking same in AF2's Aircraft Editor), I made errors during data-entry.

If the crates don't park where you want them to, open AF2's Aircraft Editor and find out why.
