It definitely has been long awaited and is one of those aircraft I have been wanting. However I do believe I saw a website somewhere, I will have to search my favorites, that said the Legendary Herk would be roughly $65 to $70 USD. While I dont mind paying that much for an add-on it definitely better be worth that kind of cost, and have more "WOW" appeal than anything else in my hanger.
Granted, the 727, 707 both have been in my hanger for a long time now and I enjoy both quite a bit, and the Yak I bought on a whim (before the price reduction lol) and enjoy that as well, but all three of those were priced accordingly.
You make great aircraft Captain Sim, I have no doubt about that, Im just hoping Im not faced with "sticker shock"
Oh and for those SimV members reading my post here, please dont say anything in a negative and trollish way about the cost. Be constructive not destructive, because my information about the cost may or may not be factual.

It'll be interesting to see how its priced. The PMDG 747 is beginning to push the boundaries as far as price is concerned, and its price has certainly put me off purchasing it, as I'm not really an airliner type (although I do own the PMDG 737s, due to the good reviews they had). $55 is roughly what you pay in the UK for boxed versions of aicraft such as the PMDG 737's at high street (slightly inflated prices). Much more than this and you're beginning to approach the standard price of the host sim, and will certainly begin to narrow the possible customer base (young people won't necessarily be able to afford it, and even I would question whether I could justify paying that much for a single type add on...)
It'll be interesting to see...

Amazon.co.uk and Play.com are quoting £22.99 on Sept 9th and £17.99 (RRP £29.99) on 30th Sept respectively...
I'd have said that was a bit on the "soon" side. Mind you, if it is dearer than that, I wonder if they'll honour the prices?
