Hi all,

I ma looking to pick up one of the A380 packages that are now around and am after some opinions as to whether I should go for the Wilco or Abacus version.

I have read a few reviews but there seems to be some conflicting evidence as to which is the better one to get so any and all advice here would be appreciated.

Cheers

Peter

Well its pretty hard to have a realistic aircraft without it being released.  But Savas did buy the Wilco A380 so I imagine he will share his views on it, I did see they made a release.

But personally I think the freeware models might be better than the payware models

Abacus has a try before you buy option. Best thing is to give it a whirl and see if you think it is worth the expense. personally I didnt, but wanting an A380 I went with the Wilco version...which also in my case wasnt worth the expense. Wait a while and just use some of the fairly decent freeware versions as Im sure in due time someone will create a great A380. The ones available for sale right now arent worth the cost in my opinion.

OK guys thanks for the feedback, I'll keep my cash in my back pocket for now then.

I haven't been able to find where the Abacus try before you buy option is. Can't see anyinthng relating ot that on their website at the moment.

Tha Abacus A380 is NOT part of the Premier Collection "Try before you buy" aircraft.

Remember, the Abacus package includes local scenery, AI and several liveries, normally features not found in single aircraft Premier Collection releases.

Thats kinda odd. They must have changed that as it was at one time. I still have it on my computer as I never got around to deleting it off.

I wouldn't buy anything from Abacus at the moment.

They seem very low quality compared to add-ons from companies like Captain Sim and Real Air.
