I would go for the Level-D 767 and the PMDG 737 Series. The PMDG 747 could also be a choice...
Cheers,
Ashar

PS: This should be in the Payware Forum... Wink

I like the LVD 767, but also I own both rejional jets you have there (ERJ/CRJ) both are good in my opinion.  But not sure they are worth $40.

Considering in this day and age, $43 got me a full tank of premium unleaded gas, I dont think $40 to $55 is all that much for a payware addon for a hobby I very much enjoy, and have, as well as continue to do so for a long time to come.

That $43 will get me from point A to point B for about 5 days. The $55 I just spent for PMDGs 747 will get me from point A to point B for years ... once relearn how to program that damned FMC lol

I dunno though lol.  The 747 is kinda a waste for shorter trips which I normally do... (usually 300nm - 800nm).  Only time Ive actually flown a super long leg is when I flew from CYVR to hong kong (took about 11 hours in my A340, which I wont do again because it hurts hehe), and CYVR to Hawaii, a 5 hour trip in the PMDG 737.  I won't do it again, but the 737 has the range  Wink

Cheers,

PMDG has the edge for me. LDS767 is good too but it really irked me that they just said "let the community do the SIDs/STARs". They did not even include a single major airport's SID/STAR and I haven't forgotten that.

If we're going back to FS2000, FS2002, probably 767PIC was the best.(767PIC had the SID/STARs included) LDS767's 2d panel is basically the same as the 767PIC.

I am a sucker for PMDG....
I own their Beech 1900C, finally their 747 Queen of the skies and the boxed version of their amazing 737NG 600/700.

I recommend all, although I personally find the 737 and 747 most accomplished.

The 747 is all that an enthusiast could dream for.... accurate systems and performance, as well as.... working window blinds, windscreen wipers, the ability to move the pilots chairs in the VC and so many other amazing possibilities... dont even get me started!  Grin

PS The 747 works amazing with Barcelona from Aerosoft's New Spanish Airports!

and DO NOT get the RFP 747

PPPS  Andy, you call the PMDG model lacking?  Grin

Quote:
The PMDG 747-400 visual model is the most complex model PMDG has produced to date. With nearly 1,200 animated parts, users will spend months exploring the interactivity of this aircraft....

.... The landing gear alone has 110 moving parts, each animated in concert with the others.....

blablabla.... you know the drill.... Well, just trying to say that IMO it is a great model!   Smiley
