I find "By th way" from the Red Hot Chili Peppers more suitable for driving.

Lynyrd Skynyrd Sweet home alabama was pretty cool driving song one day as I was coming home from school on the backroads.....I was driving down a country road...fields of corn all around...and a big ole thunderstorm coming right at me!
woohoo!
Of course if I'm driving my 65 comet I would like to play the crazy about a mercury song....
All depends on the situation!
Besides I wouldn't mind seeing steppenwolfs magic carpet ride up there instead..

I think the best driving song on that list is Radar Love-but I don't think its the greatest driving song. I'm not sure what is though.
