Hi all,

Having just installed Hanks Trading Post & got it all showing sweetly, I would dearly like to add some AI traffic to the place, e.g. planes landing, parking, taxiing & then buzzing off again.

The problem is i'm a complete noob & a doofus when it comes to installing AI, writing traffic plans & setting up taxiways & parking etc.

I have looked at the subject, but have really no idea where to start or what I need to do.

Are there a host of basic packages that I will need & do I need to use them in a certain order. Also, am I likely to be able to crack this within a few days/a week or does it generally take quite a while to figure out? I'm ok with moving files around etc, but thats about as good as it gets down here.

Completely lost,

TSC.

To add your own traffic you'll need:

Traffic Tools to create the flight plans. http://www.simviation.com/fs2004utilities1.htm

Has a very complete help file that will walk you thru the process.

AI aircraft. Much easier on fps than using flyable ac.

AFCAD to create the airport facilities needed for AI (if one isnt included with the scenery). The version depends on your FS version, found in the Utilities download section for your FS version. (plus the appropriate freeware version of FSUIPC to link AFCAD to FS)

AFCAD also has a very complete help file.

May I suggest searching this forum for 'traffic' with message limit set to 50 and days to 60.

I just got 43 messages related to this subject here at SimV -- the WWW's most knowledgeable user database Smiley
