This is another multiplayer screenshot.
They are Aerial Foundry's Blue Angels #2 (me) and #3.
I did a repaint for both of these aircraft (although you can't really see in this shot) to have my name and his on the sides, as well as our faces on the pilots, and our call signs on the helmets.
I put the frame in there because the BG from the SimV forums kinda clashed with my sky.
Unfortunately, I didn't have too much time to take the shot, because my buddy had to go so I couldn't take a high resolution pic  Sad
So this one is pretty much the same size as I took it off of FS, with the exception of the frame, which I added.
I didn't cover anything.
Enjoy,
Chrisco

Nice,

But i realy dont like the heat/engine-smoke effet..

Imo, turn the layer transparency so it gets a blueish colour to it..

Thank you for the contructive critisism Andy, I'm just curious as to why blue?

I guess it's because the sky is blue, and the smoke/heat effect is not completely nontransparent.

Great work!

Oh, ok.
but have you ever seen airshow smoke from directly behind th aircraft?
It is not opaque or translucent, it is thick as to last a long time.

I agree it is partialy opaque...
But the white in this edit should be transparent..  Wink

Ok, now I see where you're getting your info from. But, in the shot from the link you posted, the smoke is from exhaust, my edit is smoke from the smoke system.
I just want you to know I truly appreciate the constructive critisism.  Smiley
Even though the pic from your link is the exhaust, I think you are STILL right about the opacity.
I did a little research at the Blue Angels site, and saw that for one thing, my smoke is TOO thick and another, it is TOO dark. In fact if I used a smaller brush, and made the part transparent, it would probably look a little more like the real thing as in this pic
