Heres some of my Screenshots of the DSB/Sigma Harrier. Not very good shots due to the compression and resizing.

It can but only when it is not armed, when it is at its maximum take-off weight it has to do a rolling take-off 8)

Indeed the real thing can take off hence the designation as a VTOL aircraft (Vertical Takeoff and Landing).

Grand shots, what is she like?  Smiley

She flys real nice, some little niggles here and there, but its great, VC is nice also, lots of clickable things, 2D panel aint bad either, but who flys with 2D anyway Grin overall its a great little package overing lots of different varients of the Harrier, real squad liverys and some of the prototype ones also.

geez I can't believe how many times we have to go through this argument lol

The harrier in certain operational configurations can still perform the vertical take-off. The harrier's maximum vertical take-off weight is around 9300kg which is a fair proportion of its basic operating weight which is around 5500kg. The absolute maximum a harrier can carry in stores and weapons is around 11000kg which is a rare occurance. The thrust to weight ratio of the harrier at this weight is 0.94 to 1.00.

In most instances the harrier is fully able to perform the vertical take-off. The reason why it doesn't is because it really isn't necessary and a waste of fuel.

lol I'm gonna save this info for the next post containing a harrier Grin

lol no problem it isn't your fault.

It is an easy mistake to make and not without some truth in operational conditions. Welcome to SimV by the way didn't mean to sound rude. Sorry.

Oh and cool shots I like the last two, where did you get that scenery?
