I am looking for assistance in finishing this plane:
I am having trouble completing the main gear, as far as adding a few more support stuctures and also adding the main gear wheel wells. The flaps I am not sure about and I belive it might need spoilers. Painting will be needed also. I dont want to just put it out for "adoption" as I have put tons of time in it and dont need 400 people releasing it under thier name. If you would like to help me out just point me to some of your work. I have a zip file ready to go that has the plane ffor FS2004 and the FSDSV2 source file.
thanks
Chris

I'd love to help. I really would. I'm sure most everyone here would also want to help. Practicly everyone has rolled over to gmax.(I may be wrong)
You really should go with gmax to.

That seems to be kind of a cruel reply, it seems there are quite a few out there still using FSDS (myself included). To each his own...
That looks like a very well-done project (Convair YB-??), if the extra bits needed to be worked on are not too complex or time-consuming I would be willing to lend a hand.

I tried Gmax and I didnt really like it. I've used FSDS for quite sometime.
My biggest hang up is making the main gear wheel well and the doors for it.

OK, here is where I stand right now as far as what I need help with. After almost two years a serious brain fart occurred causing a bit of clearity. I was able to creat the correct doors and wheel wells for the main gear. Now I am stuck as to making the wells show thru the wing root. they are in the correct position just need to "cut out" the well into the wing. Either one of you, or anybody else still game?

Hi Chris;
how did you make out? I've got a rather full plate right now, but if you are using FSDS and need a little help I'd be willing to lend a hand if no one else steps forward. My work can be found here:

Hmm...when making my first aircraft I forgot to add the cut-out for the wheel wells in the wing roots and ended up re-designing the entire wing! Have learned a few things since then, if you'd like I can give it a go (only if time is not a big concern - have a few projects on the burner as well), if there are a few interested in trying to help out why not send each a copy of the parts needing modification and utilize the best solution of the bunch?
