Reminds me the time I was moose hunting, and was on a hill, and saw 2 of these guys BELOW me flying probably 450-500 knots. Talk about messed up. They were in a valley, and the hills on either side were about 700 feet tall or so, and these guys were scud running the tree tops.

Nice pics. And no offense, but why is everyone always destroying the aircraft designations. It is B-1B. The letter signifying the model comes after the number of the designation like the above. Sorry if this offends anyone as an insult, but as a military enthusiest and future pilot it just pains me.

The B-1A was a much better aircraft..... Unfortunate the government cutting.

Depends on what you want and how you interpret 'better'. The A-model was faster, but couldn't carry as much as the B-model and that's what's important for the ACC. The B-1A was rated for 114,752 pounds while the B-1B is rated for 124,738 pounds.
