At the beginning of Half-Life 2, before you get any weapons, I used to walk around and throw soda cans and milk crates at the gaurds.  They didn't appreciate it much...  Grin

I managed to run far enough from one Metro Cop that he gave up and walked away.  I haven't been able to do it since, Tongue
Medal of Honour and Call of Duty are pants.  Battlefield 2 is some nice, stupid fun.  But very system demanding.
I though Codename Panzers: Phase One was great. Wink  It'd be nice to see World War II from the Japanese or German side for once, without labeling them evil. Tongue Keep an eye out for Pacific Storm!  Simulator/Strategy game!

That's what I hate about MoH or CoD. They're simply one-sided.

I agree about MOH and those games, one sided.... (usually allies but say England, America, or Russia but no Axis) Cheers, Gunny

I've been waiting a long time to adorn a Wehrmacht uniform and pop a few caps into a paratrooper on D-Day or the Ardennes.  I've waited awhile, and I expect I'll be waiting for a long time to come.  Pacific Storm will let you win the war from the Japanese side, at least, but it's still not a FPS. Tongue

A lot of people complain that World War II is a worn out genre, but perhaps if we saw something besides America liberates from the Germans at Normandy!  I think people would welcome a game with Kursk or Guam not made by some tiny little Russian company, which seem to be the only ones willing to do such a thing. Tongue

Anyways, Half Life 2 and Far Cry are the way to go!  Half Life 2 seems more advanced than Far Cry, but I dunno how optimized Far Cry is.  My system laughs at them both! Grin
