Any like it? I just picked it up for Xbox. I find that it's like all the other Medal of Honor games, but isn't. I'm surprised they don't start you off with training. But I guess it was ment for people familiar with the game. I find the physics of the AI are more lifelike, as in Allied Assault, Spearhead, Breakthrough, Frontline and Pacific Assault. Also the guy that you control is more responsive. The first mission is a raid on St. Naziere, or however you spell it. It's cool, if you blow up a fuel tank or whatever, theres a ringing noise that you hear. Pretty lifelike.

That's just my take on it. I'm sure other people will have other opinions. I believe that this is probably the second best of all the Medal of Honor game, Allied Assault being first.

8/10.

Hmm...I have always found all the console MoH's half-assed Roll Eyes

On the other hand, all the PC ones are excellent, I'm completely in love with Allied Assult (Spearhead & Breakthrough), and Pacific Assult...

...but Frontline and the Rising Sun were both really big disapointments...

...don't got European Assult yet...and prolly won't get it either... Tongue

I agree. The PC versions are better, but this is pretty good too. I think it's out for PC as well. I didn't see it though..

There are no PC versians of Rising sun and frontline.

I never played any console MOH game, but from what I've heard, they seem terrible.

I love the PC medal of honor series. Allied Assualt, Spearhead, Breakthrough. Still play them today.

I despise Pacific Assualt. I believe it is one of the most horrible PC games ever released. its engines is buggy and halfassed. Its gameplay is pathetic. In SP, you can see NPC's spawn in front of you numerous times. In MP, the shooting hitboxes are way off.

I ment of European Assault. And there is a PC version of Rising Sun. Ever hear of Pacific Assault?

Guys, don't forget that gameplay is different on consoles and PC. It'd be like saying, "try and fly FS04 on PS2". It'd wayyy different than a PC game.

I doubt I will get it.... all the MOH games are fun to play the first time, then they sit to collect dust, always the same each time through and on console, highly unrealistic.... However the Allied Assualt for PC was prolly the best, but there are many better WW2 games for computer in my opinion such as call of duty, Cheers, Gunny

No. Rising Sun is totally different from Pacific Assualt. They are set in the same theater of war, but thats it. The stories, gameplay, and graphics are different. In Rising sun, you play as Marine Corporal Joseph Griffin while in pacific assualt, you play tommy Conlin. Seperate storylines. Gameplay is different, due to console and due the incepetion of the corpsman in pacific assault. Graphics is different because console gfx use different hd and PC's have much better gfx hardware. Pacific Assault is NOT a PC Rising Sun.
