Hi Yvon,

The X800 Pro can be overclocked to XT PE specs with some simple mods to the clock speeds; if you're feeling a little bit more adventurous then you can also flash the BIOS so that you can achieve full XT PE status.

PS. C'est bon voir un Francaphone dans le Simviation!  Grin

Oui, j'ecris la phrase ci-dessus!  Wink

Cheers,
Mehdi. Smiley

Not all ATI x800 rpo can be o/c to xt PE speeds, bu a good deal can. It also depends on the cooling solution on your card.

Flashing a x800 pro to a xt or XT PE must be done carefully. Most x800 pro's have a laser cut that disables some pipelines and therefore would crash the vid card if flashed to a x800 xt since the x800 xt has no disabled pipelines.

Overclocking is fine, I was just warning about flashing bios which is a bad idea unless you know what you are doing.

Hi Yvon,  Grin

That's a sweet set-up perfect for just about any game. I don't think any overclocking is really necessary unless you want some extra FPS, in which case I would recommend you just overclock your X800 Pro to XT PE speeds. Simple to do with a good program called RivaTuner, available here: www.guru3d.com

Cheers,
Bonne soiree,

Smiley Thank you Medhi for your message ,unfortunately or i ask  to much i am not satisfied with it,in fact as soon as i come closer to the ground  i can see "scintillement" and also (i know your hear some french) at high altitude i can see some high moutains pics "flottants de droite à gauche" and this really makes me  feel very irritate.Anyway, let's hope with fs 2006 perhaps ...!
Ps:my fps rises betwen 50 and 60 but it set lower ie :30 fps it doesnt change anything .

   Cheers.
