Hagar's vintage jet shots reminded me of these old pix taken at my first airshow... sadly, I didn't get a shot of the Vampire. I think I took a ride in the Saratoga first, then ran out of film. Or maybe I was too enthralled; I don't remember. Oh, well. No flyby shots at all, either- it was a cheesy Instamatic, and I knew they wouldn't come out.

My very first time ever in the front seat of an airplane- Piper Saratoga... took a quick ride over the lush hills of Vermont for $10.
Attending this little show was a random impulsive decision made while on a bike tour through the area (saw a flyer at the general store), but it changed my life forever!!
