Well, on my MP3 player at the moment (best guide IMHO) as follows:
Coldplay X & Y
Franz Ferdinand
Pink Floyd- Dark side of the moon & Wish you were here
David Bowie- The singles collection
Some Chas n' Dave tracks from various sources..
But that will all change next week, point being so much music, I could never pick a top 5.
Top 50 maybe...
Rob.

Having just seen Greenday live for the first time last night at T-in the Park, I'm going to have to add them to my list... now I'm off too bed as I havn't slept more than 6 hours since thursday or Friday

The're awesome aren't they?
I was expecting them to be rubbish when I went to see them in Milton Keynes but they blew the other bands of the day out of the water.
The're bringing out that MK concert out on DVD too.

I had the opposite experience with Greenday. When I saw them it was like a stage circus with a few songs here and there. I havn't been able to listen to them since.

I believe they call it putting on a show.
Jimmy Eat World who were on before them just stood there and played, no chat to the audience, no lighting, no energy and that was so boring.
Greenday played loads of songs and even jammed for about 5 mins on about 5 of them.

ditto, they had a two hour set and right in the middle took a break to form a band with members of the crowd!
3 lucky B******S got to play infront of the better part of 60,000 people, the guy they picked for guitar even got to keep the instrument... pitty I was about 150 meters from the stage
Armstrong also right at the start asked someone for a Saltire and strated running round with it... the crowd went freakin nuts!
Aside from this I had a personal conection as the first song I ever played live was "Brainstew" 8)
