Well it was time to leave Canada and head to my RV with Dave in NY and his fridge


Coming in to land at Maine (KPQI) after another 2 hours 43mins and 14secs in the air



After a quick turn-around a coffee and a doughtnut it was heigh-ho for NY, and who should I spot over the north shore of Long Island? Yup Dave in his Mk XIV

However being rather low on fuel we stopped at KISP for some gas and a quick beer, the final leg having taken 2 hours 37mins and 12secs, and Dave promised to buy the first round!

Glad we got to buzz my house and show you Northport harbor. Too bad you had some PC problems which denied us from taking a quick jaunt over to NY City to terrorize the people!  

Are we still on for Thursday? I Have a few sites to show you before you leave.

Mark, what do you average each trip in that thing, roughly almost 3 hours flight time?


By the way, before you pack up today, could you restock the fridge, vacuum the rugs, mow the lawn, do the laundry, go out for some groceries and pick up a good movie for tonight?  8)

Well after some deliberation I've decided that once I've finished wrecking Daves beautiful home (it was okay to pee in the sink wasn't it? ) that I'll head up to Chicago and Kevins beer, then back into Canada for Kens beer (and to get all the low-down on Ken from Wendy) then across the Strait into Russia and down towards the Chinese border. Then it is westward for home. So a strange RTW trip in my Spit is in the offing, but first to terrify NY on Thursday

Ps. The good movies for tonight are Battle of Britain followed by Tora! Tora! Tora! and I've grabbed some beer and pretzels (I've been trained how to eat them safely unlike certain presidents we could mention ) but I have a question Dave. Err do you have any more bottles with a strange yellow liquid in them marked Tequilla but unopened?
