The final installment of the series.  Here are some of my favorite shots taken at SJC.  For some dumb reason, I never realised my digital camera had long-time exposure capability until my very last night at SJC.  I could have done so much with this feature.  Oh well, better late than never I suppose.  I could only take up to 4 second exposures so unfortunately in the shots showing aircraft taking off, you see a beginning and an end to the movement.  It would be so much better if the streaks went off the endge of the photo.  Oh well...

This was the last flight I worked and pushed out at SJC.

That about wraps up SJC!  Now it's time for a new environment...SAN (first round of pics from SAN are ready and will be posted in coming days...stay tuned...).

I think ive been on that last Southwest 737! I remember the heart with a number 1 in it. Is there only one number 1? or does it mean something entirely different?

Many thanks for all the photo's...!
Knowing how much time I spend every day flying around the 'Frisco Bay area in the sim, its nice to see some "real" photo's of the area.
Looking forward to seeing some photo's of San Francisco International Airport now, and the surrounding area...!!!

I would love some distant photo's of the nearby hills, and the Bay...(on a clear day!)...LOL...!

Actually, at one time all Southwest's fleet had the heart with a "1" in it.  Now, it's just the ones that are still in the old colors.  The heart is absent from the newer blue scheme.

Uh, actually I'm in San Diego now.  Not San Francisco.  hehe   Wink

Anyway, thanks guys.  SAN should prove to be a bit more interesting.  Much greater variety of airlines and a more interesting environment surrounding the airport.  It provides a nice backdrop.   Grin

I used bag tugs, belt loaders, bag carts, railings, etc...anything I could set it on and try to hold REEAAALL still.  Not every shot came out haha.

LOL yeah.  That's why I couldn't use a tripod.  It wouldn't fit in my pocket so I could snap back to work any time.  Shots 2-5 were taken while the plane in shot 6 was on approach.  Just killed the time waiting for its arrival by taking pictures since I have to be at the gate ready for it to come in anyway.   Smiley
