A number of the WWII aircraft I’ve downloaded to FS2002 run out of elevator trim ‘UP’ authority at low speeds.       As a result, it is necessary to hold an out-of-trim stick force during approach and landing.      I have set FS Edit elevator and elevator trim effectiveness to max (2.0) with little appreciable effect.       Can anyone suggest how I might adjust the parameters in FS Edit (or in the aircraft .cfg file) to increase the effectiveness of the elevator trim?

Are you talking about during landing approach? The trim will offer little adjustment then, you use POWER to adjust the nose up, nose down attitude of the aircraft.

Thank you papa-metro.      That's certainly one way of doing it.     Personally, I've always preferred the old fashioned way of controlling rate of descent by the stick and speed by the throttle.       Using either technique, however, a pilot should be able to trim out 'out-of-trim' stick forces at all speeds.
