Hi guys, you might be interested to know that I have put up a tutorial on gauge placement and background illumination for VC gauges. Tested using FSDS2. It's the method I used for my F-117A. A bit long winded, but the method attempts to compile a large number of gauges into only 2 VCockpit sections in the panel.cfg to optimise framerates. This is brand new, so some feedback would be appreciated either here or on our forum. I am also working on tutorials for XML gauge programming.
