Problem with the glass of the canopy (Read 214 times)

Hi Guys

I'm taking a little break of the big projects, so i'm working in one glider but i've a problem.

I make everything normal, and i put the part of the glass 0, and when i put the upper view the glass makes a hole in the fuselage's shadow Cry, why????? what am i doing wrong?????

Have never seen glass opacity set to zero, usually 25 to 40 is good with a specilar level of about 77. You also might have a drawing order problem. Not knowing what program you are using, I would clone/copy and paste the canopy, and delete the original, then make it a child your fuselage.

How did you link the object? Are you linking the canopy to the fuselage or the Fuselage to the canopy? If so, try to
NOT
link them [keep them separate]. It usually works for me.

What's weird, is that the seats cast no shadow either.

You could prob solve this making the fuselage a two-sided object. ?
