This isnt getting any replies in the hardware thread so I'll post it here.

How can I calibrate my joystick? I tried running the calibtation removal tool and it says it wasnt calibrated. In the joystick properties there is no tab to calibrate it either.

I have the newest direct x and drivers, Etc but it doesnt calibrate! And please dont suggest a different joystick. This is the only 1 I have and will be using.

I got rid of my logitech recently, and I'm never going back.  Saitek Cyborg Evo all the way, as airbus said.

I had SERIOUS problems calibrating the logitechs, it just wouldn't stick.

I have that exact joystick and it works perfectly.  Your j/s should have come with a disk, correct?  You should install it using the disk.  It should take you through a wizard to calibrate.

If you need more help just ask Wink

it brokes like all the logitech's. The only thing that you can do is to say bye to it and utilice it as i said you until it burns!

This is how i did mine.

1.  Insert Disk

2.  Click on the top 'Intstall now' button (install drivers and gaming softeware

3.  Follow instructions.

If this does not work, then i don't know what is wrong, but mine works perfectly ??? Wink

I've had two of those sticks and both of them failed after a few months.  On each of them I lost left/right bank.  It would bank ok left but not right.  The calibration routine verified that the responses wre not normal.  Loaded the software on another computer and got the same result.  There is a forum on Logitech's site and this problem has been reported many times.  I did like many others and got a Saitek.

Good luck,

Jim

Yep, I get the same loss of right hand axis (right banking) at randon, but very often - many times per hour of use.  All Logitech divces for ages now are AUTO-calibrating, so you can't do anything manual anyway! Unplugging it and reconnecting it will trigger the auto-calibration again....but it won't last long!!
Their joysticks, joypads and wheels all have the same faulty design that messes their calibration like this!!
They will work for X amount of time from new, then it becomes repetitive and permanent!!

Ever since they began using that auto-calibrate design all of their products have gone to the dogs!!  Forums all over the place list people's Logitech problems (these). So save up and buy another brand!!
