You're using an ATI card... right? If not, I dunno.
I have an ATI. EDimensional doesn't really support ATI cards., only Nvidia. I have two pair. It is possible to get them working but you just have to tweak your card and FS just right.
I'm going out to sea on the 16th for two weeks but here's a bit of info.
Basically the software for the glasses takes the video from FS and separates it into two images. One for the right eye, one for left. So you effectively get half the frame rates.
You need to set your monitors refresh rate to 60 or higher. Absolutely no lower than 60. This is what provides the refresh rate for your glasses. If it's set too low, you will easily notice the flicker in your glasses and it causes me headaches after an hour or so.
I found a rate if 120 quite nice, but I had to lower my resolution from 1600x1200 to 1024x768.
I also found that the software did not always kick in 3D mode. The little device that goes on your monitor sends out infra red signals. If your facing a open curtian window, the light will cause problems. I have a big glass door behind me and sometimes I get light reflection off my screen. Keep your environment as dark as possible.
It is quite a neat effect to see all the buildings, trees and airports in 3D, but the LCD glasses diminish the colors.
That's about all I can do to help with out further info about what is and is not happening.
What do computers and air conditioners have in common?
They both will work perfectly, until you open windows.

have tried to use my ed glasses with 2004 but when I start flighting in the 2d cockpit half the screen is black.I am using the enable by hot key. When I change to virtual cockpit mode it is no better the top half looks very strange.
I have a gforce 5200 pci card 128meg ram.
I have the current drivers and stereo drivers for my operating system windows ME.
I have no trouble with medal of honour that is working fine.
I have uninstalled and reinstalled the drivers but no change.
I have found that if when disable stereo in the nvidia display settings the problem goes away but of course I can't use my ed glasses . any suggestion

They play doom3 pretty well. As for fs2004, I've never tried it.
I don't like them though as you have to lower your game res to use them.
