I'm the last person you'd expect to need help with upgrades (or need an upgrade at all), but here I am.
I'm looking for a good joystick. It's main use will be for fs2004, but it must work (well) with other (not necessiarily flying) games.
Price isn't really a problem for me, but I do have some requirements.
-It must use USB. I don't have any ports available unless there is such a thing as a firewire joystick.
-It was must be small. <---Big issue
I don't have a lot of room for a joystick becuase my entire room is filled with moniters, tv's, computers, workstations, servers, projectors, surround sound speakers, etc. Any space I do have is reserved for my workspace (like assembling comps, etc.)
-It must be wireless. I have too many wires from ethernet (I don't like wireless networks) to optical fiber.
-It must use USB power. I don't think i have an extra outlet and if I did, i will probably use it for a new peice of equiment very soon. Yes, I have extension cords, but again, they will probably get used up by other stuff.
Thanks in advance for any help.

I've not seen any small wireless joysticks, but I'm piping in to make sure you've balanced the Amp usage of all that equipment? If you'd like to know more PM me.
What do computers and air conditioners have in common?
They both will work perfectly, until you open windows.

Whew! Just hoping you weren't heading into disaster. Sorry I can't help fill your joystick request though.

Autopilot.........
Saitek does make a wireless version of the Cyborg evo joystick. Uses 2.4 Ghz too. BUT, I dont know if it is USB or not. The stick itself uses batteries (of course), so I dont think that it has any other power issues. Here is a link, hope it works......

I dont think it is a very large joystick either. It is about the same size as the old Wingman sticks, give or take a little. Hope this helped.

A while back PC PILOT did a review of a cordless joystick, I don't remember any more than that. I will try to find the report for you if your interested, BUT it may take a few days as everything is still packed away (had builders in) Regards Chris

Autopilot....
I know a couple people that have the corded version of the Saitek Cyborg Evo and they like it alot. I dont know about the wireless version. You have to be careful with most wireless sticks though because they will go into a sleep mode when they arent used for a few seconds. Your intial inputs will wake up the stick, but wont do anything. Freaks some people out, but it only takes a heartbeat for the stick to "wake up" Just be prepared for that with a wireless.
