Nice shots Doug. Lovely ones of the Cat. Look forward to its trip to the paint shop, and hopefully it'll get a couple of new blisters - and a nose turret would be nice, something their last Cat never had...

Still 2 available for £17,500 as far as I know. Having said that, I think they've always had at least one or two for sale at any time, even in the days of the old Cat...

Don't know whether I mentioned it before or not...but the Canso/Cat would get a couple of more knots in speed with the rear blisters than with the Dutch doors.

Yes Doug, I remember you mentioning that before. Must be something to do with the airflow. They said the Hunter T.7 trainer flew more smoothly than the single-seater fighter versions due to the broader nose & canopy. I don't know if it was any faster.

Just driven back from Portsmouth, and drove past Lee-on-Solent airfield, where I saw a familiar shape behind a hangar - photos to follow tomorrow when I've been back to take them...

Great shots there Doug.....very nice to see one fly.....the two I mentioned are sitting in the sun down island at Nanaimo-Collishaw Airport.........the road that takes you in from the highway is called ,....what else....
